Personal Note

In grade school I had my very own bully. He lived around the corner and beat me up regularly. It wasn't my name but my small size that caused me to be a target. School itself wasn't where I was bullied, it was on the school bus. Every morning and afternoon I had to deal with this mean for no reason individual. Then on the very last day of grade school I had worked up the confidence to confront this person. Thankfully the outcome was in my favor and he never bothered me again.

I raised my two boys to have self confidence so they could handle bullying by bringing it to a quick resolution. As they entered high school, both earned their black belts in Taekwondo. Those classes added to their self confidence as well as providing discipline and self defense skills.
